Starting in photography and then branching out into one of the world's premiere Silent Film Director's Segundo de Chomon brought a colorful and fantastic perspective to silent films, creating inventive new creatures, stunning sets and films that reached new heights. Chomon competed with Melies to be the world's best film maker throughout the early 1900s before settling back into camera work for the rest of the silent era. Chomon's final achievement was helping develope a 2 color film process.
